Insomnia Cookies Celebrates Grand Opening of 150th Store in Hometown City of Philadelphia

New Store in South Philly is the 10th to Open in the Philadelphia Area and 150th Nationwide

Philadelphia, PA- (February 1, 2019) – Insomnia Cookies is proud to announce the opening of its 150th store this week and 10th location in the Philadelphia area; the city where it all began for the company in 2003. The company’s first South Philly location in the new Lincoln Square complex began serving and delivering its variety of sweet treats, including cookies, brownies and ice-cream to the public on January 28th. A 150th store opening celebration is planned for the South Philly Insomnia Cookies on Monday, February 4th. 

To celebrate this milestone on a national level, Insomnia Cookies is treating fans at every Insomnia Cookies location to one free traditional cookie with any in-store purchase on Monday, February 4th, through 3 am on February 5th.

“Opening our 150th location is so exciting to see and it’s even sweeter that it’s right here in Philadelphia where Seth Berkowitz started the concept at UPenn.” said Tom Carusona, Chief Marketing Officer of Insomnia Cookies. “It’s only fitting that we celebrate this accomplishment with free cookies for all of our Insomnia Cookie enthusiasts!”

South Philly 150th Celebration Details:

The 150th store opening celebration will take place Monday, February 4th, at the new South Philly store located at 1420 Carpenter Street. All day Monday, guests can get one free traditional cookie with any purchase in-store or online. From 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, guests will be offered a limited time deal of a six pack of traditional cookies for $1.50 (Limit of 1 per person) with the opportunity to walk away with a mystery Insomnia Cookies gift card in the box.

Insomnia Cookies offers a selection of products including their nine traditional cookies in flavors like chocolate chunk, snickerdoodle, white chocolate macadamia, peanut butter, and double chocolate. The company also offers other delicious treats like; 3 different flavors of Deluxe Cookies, brownies and ice-cream.
